WELCOME!!
Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church serves the needs of the people of Bayonne, and the Archdiocese of Newark. We are a welcoming, multi-cultural parish, providing pastoral services for English, Italian and Spanish speaking families.

We offer Religious Education for those children attending public school. Our RCIA program is a way for anyone interested in becoming a Catholic and a member of our parish. We invite you to join us for one of our worship services.

ADULT CATECHUMENATE (RCIA):
A faith sharing group for those who want to be initiated into the Church. Please call the rectory for more information.

BAPTISM:
Celebrated 7 times a year. Parents are required to meet with a member of the staff, and both parents and godparents meet with the Baptism Team for pre-Baptism Catechesis. Please call the rectory for an appointment.

MARRIAGE:
Contact the rectory one year prior to wedding date.

MINISTRY TO THE SICK:
For those of advanced age and those ill, please call the rectory.The Eucharist can be brought to the home of any person temporarily or permanently homebound. Please call the rectory.

TEACHING THE GOOD NEWS:
Levels 1-8  Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 PM
Levels 1-8(Spanish) Sundays, 11:00 AM
For information regarding Parish Sacramental preparation, please call the Religious Education Office.

RECONCILIATION:
Saturdays: 1:00 PM
